Mohammed Alkwaz was born in Iraq and came to Albuquerque in 2012 as a refugee. Since 2014 he has worked with RWP as a field research assistant and practical interpreter. He was awarded a master's degree in sciences from the University of Baghdad in 1995. Mohammed has believe helping newcomer is so important especially at the beginning and he strive to make this available for them through UVNR programs which was built from them and to them.
